Speculation is growing that Tuomas Sammelvuo could leave Asseco Resovia Rzeszów at the end of the season to take over as head coach of Japan’s Osaka Bluteon. French outlet “RMC Sport” reports that the Finnish coach is close to an agreement with the Japanese team, formerly known as the Panasonic Panthers.
Adding to the buzz, Sammelvuo is rumored to be bringing Antoine Brizard, the French Olympic gold medalist and current Gas Sales Piacenza setter, to Osaka. The move would reunite the pair, who previously worked together at Zenit Saint Petersburg during the 2020-2021 season.
