Slovenian opposite hitter Štern passed an official statement to our website in which he revealed why he had to part ways with the Polish top division side Bydgoszcz, currently last-placed in the PlusLiga regular season. He stressed that he will address CEV to obtain what was in the contract with the club but wasn’t respected.
“Due to inaccurate reports as well as numerous media requests concerning my departure from BKS Visła Bydgoszcz, I deemed necessary to clarify the facts. As a professional volleyball player, I have done my best during the past months to achieve the best possible performance and results with BKS Visła Bydgoszcz. However, despite my full commitment and efforts, the club failed to comply with its obligations for several months. With the assistance of the sports law firm CRESTA, I decided to protect my interests. Due to the opportunity given to the club to remedy the situation, which it missed, I terminated the contractual relationship at the Club’s tort. Clubs must respect the work of players. Instead of issuing wrong and defamatory statements, BKS Visła Bydgoszcz should better start paying me the overdue payables. I am determined to go before the CEV and obtain what I legitimately deserve for my work as a professional volleyball player. For any further information, please contact my agent – Georges Matijašević – or my legal team – Sébastien Ledure and Xavier Mansat,” Štern wrote.
After parting ways with Bydgoszcz, the 24-year-old player moved to Halkbank for the rest of the season.

My friend, you should ask around about this Polish club before you signed, when your agent didn’t do it for you.
