Challenge Cup looks ridiculous with Allianz Powervolley Milano being the main (and probably the only one?) favourite to win it. On the other hand CEV Cup with the teams like powerful looking Zenit Saint-Petersburg, Galatasaray, Chaumont and still the teams that won't qualify to the CEV Champions League: Trentino, Jastrzebski, Dynamo or Maaseik (2 of them) looks delicious.

ITALIAN CUP M: Verona and Piacenza disappoint once again

Piacenza will not have a good year with Hierrezuelo setting. He arrived unprepared and cannot set the front pin hitters and bic at all. Cleverly and Russell have no idea where those sets are going to be. The libero Scanferla is young and the staff is asking him to pass too much of the court.
Gardini is not leading this team in the right direction. Look for another setter quickly. Heck try Shaw there at this point.
Talent is wasting here.
