Dinamo-Ak
Dinamo-Ak Bars won the 2020 Superkubok Rossii and did it through the regular season of the national championship.
The reigning champions of Russia beat the vice-champions Lokomotiv in Round 3 of the 2020/21 Superliga Parimatch for women by a 3-0 (25-23, 25-18, 25-22). Thus, the Kaliningrad team suffered the second defeat in three games in the championship, which is the start of the season that doesn’t go along with the club’s title aspirations this season.
Croatian Samanta Fabris top-scored for Dinamo-Ak Bars with 21 points. Margarita Kurilo made 10 points for Lokomotiv.
Dinamo Krasnodar and proton are having surprisingly good campaigns, as they both reached 3-0 – the same record as Dinamo-Ak Bars – after beating Dinamo-Metar and Enisey respectively. The game between Leningradka and Minchanka has been postponed because there are coronavirus cases within the Belarusian club due to which they had to give up on playing the 2021 CEV Champions League qualifications.
