Some interesting re-shuffling in rosters of European men’s volleyball powerhouses is to happen soon.

Leo Shoes Modena have officially said goodbye to the setter Micah Christenson. That’s what the club President Catia Pedrini said for the website of the SuperLega side. She also said that an American player has signed a two-year deal with Russia’s Zenit-Kazan.

Rumors about the successor of the US National Team member broke out immediately. Volleyball.it reported that a familiar face and an idol of Modena fans will replace Christenson - Brazilian star Bruno Rezende ‘Bruninho’, who defended the colors of Modena, 3 years ago (won 1 Italian Championship, 2 Italian Cups and one Italian Super Cup). He’s a member of the club in his home country EMS Taubaté Funvic with whom he's competing in the playoff finals at the moment. However, the Superliga club is having financial problems due to which majors stars will depart at the end of the season.

Interestingly, Bruninho was also an option to strengthen Zenit-Kazan next season. At least, that’s what rumors said.

TUR W: Thai star Ajcharaporn continues career in Turkey

Re: @Nobody Cares She's 26 and her dream to come play in Europe stopped in a 12-placed team??? Ajcharaporn could have had many other better choices, even to play in a European Cup in a Romanian team. Her agency is so incompetent! Now she'll play against relegation :( So sad!
