For Tetyukhin, the Olympic Games in Rio were the sixth in his career. He was the flag-bearer of the Russian Olympic Team at the opening ceremony.
In 20 years which he spent as a member of Russia Volleyball NT, Tetyukhin took four gold medals (one at the Olympics) and 23 medals in total.
