“I am very happy, enjoying every phase, every kick, arranging her little room and taking care of everything with great affection for the arrival of my princess. I’m getting more anxious every day. But, nothing can compare to the anxiety of any competition. When you have a game or a major tournament, you prepare for it. You train, you motivate, you study your rival… Then you know what lies ahead. And when you are the first-time mother, as in my case, we learn from day to day. In the beginning, it’s all so new. I’m very anxious to look at her face, to catch, to hug, to smell, and to kiss a lot,” Camila Brait said.
She added that she got some tips on raising a baby from Tandara, Carol and Fabíola, her teammates from Vôlei Nestlé/Osasco, but also emphasized that she wants to start playing volleyball as soon as she delivers the baby.
“Alice will be born in November, already in January, I want to start working out with the girls. I want to get back into my shape fast,” the 28-year-old libero stated.
