The Bulgarian sports newspaper reported that 39-year old player got involved in betting affair. It is well known that volleyball players are not allowed to get involved in betting.
They stated that he made some predictions about his team Lyon Asul and as the latest example was his tip to place bet on Yani Georgiev, CSKA’s Sofia volleyball player. His suggestion was to place bet on over 12,5 points. Georgiev scored 17 against Pirin.
But, this Bulgarian newspaper has no evidences that Nikolov has been giving advices about betting. They mentioned that he didn’t answer the phone and text message…
