Poland
It was all over in just minutes. Poland defeated Egypt in straight sets and showed that they arrived in Rio ready for something big. Still, the red and whites are well aware that there are still a lot of work to be done, if they want to go all the way to the end.
As far as Egypt are concerned, they are currently more worried about the condition of Ahmed Mohamed El Kotb. He had a bad landing after going for a block in the 2nd set and he suffered an ankle injury. El Kotb was carried off court by his teammates, while we are yet to see how serious the injury is.
