„De Telegraaf“ published that the Dutch duo will move to the Turkish giant Vakıfbank İstanbul and it was confirmed by their manager Theo Hofland.
It may not come as a surprise since Vakif’s coach, Italian Giovanni Guidetti, is on the helm of the national team of Netherlands, too.
The opposite Sloetjes is currently a member of the German SC Schweriner while the receiver Buijs plays for Azerbaijani Lokomotiv Baku.
Recall, there is already one Dutch player in Vakif – Robin de Kruijf.
