Jochen Schöps said “This was a very important match which did not start the way we wanted. PGE Skra played great and obstructed us in the adoption game. After losing the first set we were aware that we have chance and start playing more offensive. We played with great emotion and we were able to play as a team and complement each other on the field”.

You have made an important first step but the semi-finals is still a long way to go.

“I will say that this is only the good start of the competition. Belchatow still need two wins to advance to the semifinals. It will not be easy but after first meeting we know that if we play well we can beat PGE Skra. We need to fight more effectively in future meetings. We are aware that PGE Skra BELCHATOW will do anything to win the next meeting”.

What may look like next duel?

“I think it will be much harder match. PGE Skra will show that they can play better. I think Belchatow will be even more determined and focused on winning. Surely we should expect greater resistance and better play from their side than on the last match”.

It is clear that you are in good shape and coach Kowal puts you in the starting line in recent meetings.

Belchatow did not expect that I will play in the starting lineup. Now they will analyze me and will try to find the recipe for my game. I will have much more difficult task in the next game but I feel good physically and I am glad that I have support from teammates and confidence of the coach. Coach also know my capabilities, he see how I train and play so now he has more confidence in me than a few months ago. I in turn I will try to meet their expectations and play as best I can, and above all to help the team”.
