You won this game quite easily?
“Yes, we trusted in ourselves and we know our abilities will decide the match if we stick to the game plan. Russia is a really good team, you never know what you can get. We risked a lot and got what we wanted.”
Russia had a big lead couple of times but you managed to turn everything around and win the game?
“We were focused playing one point at the time, one swing at the time, we did not try to get it all at once. We did a great job with the service, and as long as we were focused there was no major worries.”
Do you expect that you will go to the semi-finals?
“I hope so. We did our best and won this must-win match so what happens, happens”
What do you expect in the club, this will be your fourth season in Rabita?
“I don’t know, I am going day by day, but I am very excited to go back because the last year I had surgery and didn’t play that much… So I can not wait to return to the team. I think that we will be pretty strong.”
Do you like Baku?
“This is actually my second year because I didn’t play last year but I like it. There is a lot of Americans players so it’s really easy to have friends there and hang with them. I’m happy there.” said Foluke Akinradewo for WoV.
