GP 2014: Germany defeats Dominican 3-2, marks 200th set win

Germany achieved grand milestone by winning 200 sets in Grand Prix.

Germany achieved a five set thriller victory in 2014 FIVB World Grand Prix Group E against Dominican Republic in Ankara, Turkey on Saturday (25-19, 19-25, 22-25, 25-16, 16-14). The German team won its 200th set in World Grand Prix and became the third European and ninth overall to win at least 200 sets in the competition.

Germany’s Stefanie Karg and Dominican Republic’s Gina Altagracia Mambru Casilla scored 15 points each for their teams.
