TUR M: Esko in Halkbank, Cuban released

by WoV

Halkbank is very close to sign Finnish setter Mikko Esko from Guberniya and when it's official it would mean that Hierrezuelo will have to find a new club.

Halkbank had to replace departure of the Raphael who is back in Brazil, and that’s not an easy thing to do. After a long and drawn period of scouting various solutions, Mikko Esko seems to be at the front door of Halkbank, waiting for the formalities to sort out.

Still after Esko signs, Cuban setter, Hierrezuelo is not going to have a choice but to search for another option.

I turkey and in turkish volleyball you have the rules: or you follow them and you stay or you go after 1 season. Same thing happened to many coaches and players and they left. In turkey you have 2-3 teams that play in europe because they have good foreign players and give good money.
