Ciudad-Voley
The team from Buenos Aires defeated UPCN San Juan Vóley by a 3-2 (25-21, 25-22, 23-25, 21-25, 15-11) in the finals of the 2017 Copa ACLAV, the Men’s pre-season tournament (established in 2005) that gathers an Argentinean top division sides of the ongoing season and represents an equivalent to national cups in most countries.
By winning the Copa ACLAV, Ciudad Vóley claimed their first trophy in an Argentinean Volleyball and made the best possible introduction to the exciting season in Serie A1.
Ezequiel Palacios was the most efficient player in Ciudad Vóley in the gold medal match that was held in Santa Fe with 24 points, while Bulgarian Nikolay Uchikov made 29 for the runners-up UPCN.
