Panasonic Panthers obviously have a lot of problems when Michal Kubiak is not in the team. While the Polish superstar is recovering from injury, his team is losing games, like this Sunday when the Panthers failed to take a single set against Toray Arrows.
It was the derby of the round, as the Arrows are the 2nd placed team on the standings, while Nikola Gjorgiev shined in the winning team by scoring 25 points.
The most interesting match today was the one between Osaka Sakai and JT Thunders. It was a volleyball showdown between Wallace Martins (Osaka Sakai) who finished the game with 35 points and Dražen Luburić (JT Thunders) who made 29 points for his team. Eventually the Thunders prevailed after a tie-break.
