The “moral winners“ of the 2019/20 Brazilian Championship, Taubaté, are rapidly filling the roster for the next season.
After hiring Bruno Rezende, Felipe Roque, Gabriel Cândido, and Maurício Borges, the team from the São Paulo state engaged João Rafael Ferreira as well. The 27-year-old outside hitter spent the last season in two clubs. He started it with Italy’s Globo Banca Popolare del Frusinate Sora, while he moved to France to play for Tours in the mid-season.
In addition to João Rafael, Taubaté also signed a contract renewal with the libero Thales Hoss.
