The Brazilian Women’s Volleyball Championship is about to be enriched with the return of a legendary player.

An experienced Brazilian outside hitter Mariana Costa “Mari Paraíba” will return to playing in her home country after a year, according to Bruno Voloch. He wrote in his blog that two best Superliga Feminina clubs at the moment, Dentil/Praia Clube and Itambé/Minas, are trying to persuade a 33-year-old ex-“Seleção” member to reinforce them for the next season.

Earlier, Sesi Vôlei Bauru also showed interest in signing Mari Paraíba but decided to back up from the “competition“. Last season, a one-time FIVB Volleyball Nations League and South American Championship winner wore the jersey of Italy’s Saugella Monza.
