Beating Minas, one of the title favorites, Vôlei Renata victoriously closed the fifth round of the 2020/21 Superliga Banco do Brasil regular season for men.
The team commanded by Argentine Horacio Dileo won the match with authority and isolated itself in the third position in the standings: 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-18). At the same time, Vôlei Renata reached the 12th straight victory at home, counting the last season.
Gabriel Vaccari was the top scorer on the winning side with 13 points, while Michel Saraiva had a 71 % attack (10/14).
