Minas were very dominant against Praia in Round 10 of the 2020/21 Brazilian Women’s Superliga Banco do Brasil regular season: 3-0 (25-19, 25-21, 25-17).
Prevailing in ‘clássico mineiro’ (the classic of the Minas Gerais state), Minas took over the leadership of the competition with 27 points, three points more and one game more than Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde. As for Praia, this was their second defeat in a row with which they remained third in the standings.
American Danielle Cuttino stood out for the Belo Horizonte club with 15 points, while Thaísa Daher made 6 blocks. Dominican Brayelin Martínez top-scored Praia with 13 points, while Fernanda Garay ‘Fê Garay’ had 73 % reception (67 % excellent).
