Cruzeiro
Minas were responsible for the only defeat of Cruzeiro in the 2020/21 Brazilian Men’s Superliga Banco do Brasil regular season so far. Today, Cruzeiro took revenge on the state rivals in a duel that’s called Clássico Mineiro: 3-0 (26-24, 25-18, 25-22).
In addition to beating the fourth-placed Minas, leaders Cruzeiro recorded the 11th successive win in the competition to which they were led by Alan Souza (17 points). Cuban Yadrian Escobar put down 13 points for Minas. Matheus Santos set up 4 blocks.
