In their first match after coming back from the FIVB Club World Championship in Turkey, the competition in which they lost their first two matches of the season, Dentil Praia Clube saw their unbeaten record also being interrupted in the 2021/22 Women’s Superliga. The Uberlândia’s team, the leaders of the competition, lost at home to Barueri Volleyball Club with a score of 1-3 (22-25, 25-23, 17-25, 23-25) by which their 10-0 run came to an end.

The team commanded by the country’s national team head coach José Roberto Guimarães ‘Zé Roberto’ was highlighted by Lorrayna da Silva (23 points) and Diana Duarte (four blocks). This win pushed Barueri up from seventh to sixth place in the charts.
