Yoandy Leal, Sada Cruzeiro player: “We started the game a little under our capacity, but we improved during the match. First we got better on defense and then we could found ourselves in the game. Now we need to get prepared for a big match tomorrow with the Russian team. I believe that we will be ready for it and the better will win.”

Daniele Banioli, Matin Varamin coach: “I would like to congratulate Sada Cruzeiro, because they have proved to be superior than ourselves. What I expected of this match was to see some positive things about our team. I saw some good situations, but of course we had some problems, especially in the attack, against a strong team like Sada. For us, the championship starts tomorrow.”

Marcelo Méndez, Sada Cruzeiro coach: “I also want to congratulate the Iranian team, for the great match they played. They made it very complicated for our team, especially with a float serve and a very good tactical work. Today we were able to solve our problems during the game, on reception and then improving the attack, which finally allowed us to play well and win.”
