Israeli side Hapoel Yoav Kfar Saba took revenge on Volley Haasrode Leuven for a defeat in the 1st leg of the Challenge Cup 8th Finals (3-2) and beat the Belgian rivals in four sets in the rematch, partially 17-25, 25-21, 25-22, 25-17. Led by the Pole Sebastian Rafal Devash who scored 17 points, Hapoel will cross swords with the French team Stade Poitevin Poitiers in the Quarterfinals.
As for the Portuguese team Fonte Bastardo Azores, they outplayed Draisma Dynamo Apeldoorn from The Netherlands by a 3-1 in the rematch which was quite enough for them to qualify for the Quarterfinals knowing they won the 1st leg in straight sets. Ukrainian Vitaliy Sukhinin top-scored for the winning side with 15 points.
