The Croatian powerhouse Mladost came to one step from advancing to the 3rd Round of the 2020 CEV Champions League. Mladost, the 14-time national champions, ran over Khimik from Ukraine in the 1st leg by a 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 27-25), coming back from a six-point deficit in the third set. In their Champions League debut, Partizani Tirana from Albania earned a historic, first-ever, win.
