Both Grupa Azoty Chemik Police and SSC Palmberg Schwerin needed just a bit over an hour to sweep their rivals, Mladost Zagreb (CRO) and Asterix Avo Beveren (BEL), respectively, in the rematches of the 2020 Women’s CEV Cup quarterfinals and march into the top four of the competition.
Whilst Chemik will learn the name of their rivals in the semifinals, tomorrow, after the rematch between Swiss Volero Le Cannet and Belarussian Minchanka Minsk (3-1 in the first leg), Schwerin will wait much longer for the same. That’s because the CEV postponed the second leg between Italy’s Unet e-work Busto Arsizio and Russia’s Dinamo Kazan due to coronavirus outbreak.
