In a fierce battle in the 4th round of Pool A in the Champions League, defending champions Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle faced a disappointing 0-3 defeat against the Turkish powerhouse, Ziraat Bank Ankara. This marks their second loss in this edition of the competition, having previously fallen to Ziraat with a score of 2-3 in an away game.

Ziraat Bank Ankara continued to impress, maintaining their unbeaten record in Pool A with four victories in as many matches. They secured this important win with a remarkable 10 kill blocks, leaving ZAKSA in second place with two wins and two losses.
