A.Carraro Imoco Conegliano are the queens of European volleyball once again! The Italian powerhouse claimed their third CEV Champions League Women’s title — and second in a row — with a stunning 3-0 win over fellow Italian side Savino Del Bene Scandicci (25:16, 25:21, 25:19) in Istanbul.
Scandicci, in their first-ever final, showed early nerves, while Conegliano came in with experience — and it showed. Led by superstar Isabelle Haak, who racked up 21 points, along with Zhu Ting and Gabi Guimaraes, the reigning champs put on a clinic in attack and defense.
After a dominant first set, Conegliano never looked back. Even when Scandicci found brief momentum, Haak and her crew were always one step ahead. A powerful ace and a match-sealing block wrapped it all up in style — extending Conegliano’s unbeaten season and securing their place in volleyball history.
In the bronze medal match, Numia Vero Volley Milano took down VakifBank Istanbul 3-1, powered by Paola Egonu’s 21 points. It was a strong finish for Milano, who now celebrate back-to-back podiums in Europe’s top competition.
