Vakifbank defeated Galatasaray 3-1 (25-21, 25-22, 22-25, 26-24) and secured the first position in Pool D with all 6 wins.
In front of 900 spectators, Vakifbank celebrated the win and as leader moved to Play-off 6. On the other side, Galatasaray now have to wait for the outcome of other matches to see if they go to the next stage of the competition.
During the match, Vakifbank scored 11 blocks and 12 aces while Galatasaray scored 10 blocks and 8 aces.
Zhu Ting once again led her team to the important victory by scoring 28 points while Gözde Kirdar scored 14 points.
Galatasaray fought until the end for that one point but unfortunately, they didn’t success. Neslihan Demir Guler scored 19 points while Tatiana Kosheleva 17 points.
