Bulgaria has scored only 1 win out of 9 matches in the World League 2016, and head coach Plamen Konstantinov was ready to resign. However, the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation amitted that the frequent coach changes haven’t brought anything good to the national team, so that they are willing to give Konstantinov another chance.

“He is only 1 year here. Let’s leave him to work. The frequent coach changes does not necessarily bring better results,” said Bulgarian Volleyball Federation president Dancho Lazarov for Bulgarian media.

Recall that he also stated Matey Kaziyski may return to the national team
