Plovdiv defeated the second-ranked CSKA Sofia in straight sets (25-12, 25-20, 25-20) and now have 14 points more than the opponents.
This match wasn’t important because of a result but more to prepare for the match against Vizura in the Champions League. That match might bring Vizura chance to go to the next round while Maritza to scorer the first victory.
Champions scored the 11th consecutive victory since the start of the season.
The most successful in the match with 11 points for the winners were Viktoriya Grigorova, Desislava Nikolova and Simona Dimitrova. Iveta Stanchulova finished with 10 points for CSKA.
