WCH 2018 M: World Champs opening game a big hit on TV in Italy

The opening game of the World Championship that was played at Foro Italico in Rome on Sunday was a big hit on the Italian TV.

More than 11,000 fans came to the tennis stadium but also many people watched this game via TV.

RAI 2 announced yesterday the figures resulting from the broadcasting of the game between Italy and Japan, which ended well for the Italians captained by Ivan Zaytsev.

The Italian TV RAI 2 has confirmed that 1,4 million people followed the pre-match, thus accounting for an 8,6% share. As for the match itself, more than 1,7 million people tuned in, which accounts for a 9,6 % share.

The tournament continues tomorrow where 20 teams will open the World Champs.
