Dmitriy Muserskiy about creating his own team – “I would call it “The Eagles” or “Alpha””

A member of the Russian men’s national team Dmitry Musersky, who is going to play at the World Championship as of tomorrow, has answered some interesting questions on his Instagram profile.

Dima was asked how he would call his own volleyball club and which players he would invite to the team.

It is a difficult question because there are some nuances that cannot be foreseen for sure. For example, the name of the club should depend on the general sponsor. A group of desired players will also depend on their availability, their contracts and on the sponsors’ financial possibilities. However, if you drop all the formalities and just fantasize, I would not invite the foreigners but I will ask for a current Russian national team to join the club with some more players. I would also make the plans for physical preparation for each player…Well, the name, there are several options – „National Volleyball Club“ for example. Or, perhaps, the „Eagles“? Or simply „Alpha“? Maybe this third option is the best…“ – writes Dima on Instagram

If you had a chance, how would you call your own team?
