Resovia
Asseco Resovia will play in the semifinals of the Club World Championship after a victory against the Iranian side Ardakan 3-0 (21-25, 21-25, 11-25).
It was a good game by Resovia, that knocked out Sada Cruzeiro with this result. The Brazilian side lost today’s game against Trentino and they will travel home after the group stage of the competition.
The fans of Resovia were disappointed by the performances of the team in Plusliga (1-8 score) but with these two wins, they have proved that this score in the domestic competition is not the real indicator of their quality.
Thibault Rossard has once again shown a great quality, scoring 19 points, while Damian Schulz added 13 and David Smith had 10.
