The U.S. national team has opened the tournament with a 3-0 win over the Dominican Republic. The boys from the USA had difficulties to win the second set after a huge resistance od the rival, but in the continuation of the game, they again played in a much convincing way compared to the opponent to win the match.
Bulgaria and Italy played an exciting game. The Italian team barely managed to score the win after taking the tie-break 15-7.
Argentina have downed Mexico in Pool C, while Egypt were better than Germany! The Nigerian boys have also scored the win, beating Korea in straight sets.
Belarus were stronger than Chinese Taipei, while the Czech Republic easily defeated Colombia 3-0.
The Reigning champions Iran had a free day in round 1, as well as Brazil, Japan and Russia.
