The Italian club closed its preliminary-round campaign with a 3–0 win over Brazil’s Dentil Praia Clube, taking the match 25–12, 25–19, 25–20. Conegliano earlier swept the Orlando Valkyries and Zamalek Sporting Club to finish with nine points from three matches. With the victory, Conegliano will face the second-place team from Pool A in Saturday’s semifinals. Praia advanced as Pool B runners-up and will meet the Pool A winners. Isabelle Haak led Conegliano with 16 points. Zhu Ting added 14, and Gabriela “Gabi” Guimarães finished with 12. Praia, semifinalists for the fourth time in seven Club World Championship appearances, were paced by Payton Caffrey with 10 points and Maria Koleva with nine.

In Pool A, Italy’s Savino Del Bene Scandicci defeated Peru’s Alianza Lima in straight sets to clinch the group and avoid a semifinal meeting with Conegliano.
