France claimed second victory of the 2026 FIVB Volleyball Nations League with a hard-earned 3-2 win over Iran in Orléans.

The hosts ended a three-match losing streak after surviving a tense five-set battle, saving a match point in the deciding set before sealing the victory. Mathis Henno paced France with a match-high 24 points as Andrea Giani celebrated his 100th match as head coach with a win.

The result moves France up to 13th in the standings ahead of upcoming matches against Cuba, Serbia and Japan.

Result: France bt. Iran 3-2 (25-21, 23-25, 25-21, 24-26, 17-15).
