VNL W: Amazing Kim brought Korea victory in the tie-break

Korea celebrated a hard victory in the second round of the inaugural women's FIVB Volleyball Nations League.

Kim Yeon-Koung delivered a masterclass display of power and precision to lead Korea to a 3-2 (26-24, 25-27, 21-25, 25-14, 15-12) win over the Dominican Republic.

Kim scored 29 points, from 26 spikes and 3 blocks while Su-Ji Kim finished a match with 18 points.

On the Dominican Republic’s side, Brayelin Martinez scored a game-high 31 points and Gaila Gonzalez Lopez contributed 17 points.
