The eighth-time French men’s volleyball club champions Tours hired a familiar face – Kamil Baránek.
Tours welcomed Czech veteran Baránek to the team as a medical joker to Moroccan Zouheir El Graoui. The 38-year-old player is well known to Tours fans, as he defended the colors of the club from the Orléans region for two seasons (2012/13 and 2013/14) during which he took two French Championships and Cups each, as well as one Super Cup. Baránek spent the last five seasons in France, the last of which was in Sète.
Tours are working to engage one more medical joker given that the Brazilian international Aboubacar Neto ‘Abouba’ also got injured.
