Dresdner was led by Lisa Izquierdo-Mocasqui (16) while in Vilsbiburg, Lena Stigrot collected 10.
Schweriner SC, second-placed in the standings, had only a slight problems with VT Aurubis Hamburg, but won in four sets thanks to the Dutch tandem Yvon Beliën (20) and Lonneke Slöetjes (18).
Allianz MTV Stuttgart also needed four sets to defeat the opponent in this round, VolleyStars Thüringen – VfB Suhl. The best scorer in the winning team was Kim Renkema with 19. Heather Meyers added 16. Thüringen’s captain Claudia Steger scored 20.
