Aris condemned the arbitration and called it biased with unacceptable whistles which completely „slaughtered“ them.

„We protest strongly about the way Aris was treated and we will not tolerate this kind of practice against us and evil behavior that affect us. We demand respect because of the huge contribution of Aris in the Greek sport“.

Aris added in its note that referee created tensions on the court and among the audience.

„One bad arbitration may prematurely deprive the coach-player-management effort. The fact that his arbitration was inappropriate, Mr. Themelis should not be directed to arbitrate similar matches of Aris in the future“.

Despite the complaint on the referee, Aris beat Panathinaikos 3-2 in the match of the 8th round of Greek championship.
