Mari-Paraiba
Mariana Costa, better known as Mari Paraíba, will defend the colors of Saugella Team Monza in the 2019/2020 season. A 32-year-old former Brazil national team outside hitter, with whom she won the FIVB World Grand Prix and Pan American Games, once each, came to the SuperLega side from Osasco Voleibol Clube/Audax, signing a one-year deal.
This will be Mari Paraíba’s first experience in Italy but not the first one abroad as she wore the jersey of the team formerly known as Volero Zürich (present name – Le Cannet) in the 2016/17 season.
A few days ago, Monza signed setter Isabella Di Iulio from Banca Valsabbina Millenium Brescia.
