ITA M: Padova creates major upset in Trento, convincing wins for Perugia and Modena

Match of the round in the Serie A1 was played in Trento, where the away side Padova have managed to beat the host in five sets 3-2 (20-25, 25-20, 25-19, 23-25, 21-19).

Fernandez Hernandez was the man who pushed Padova to a surprising win over Trentino, finishing the game with 28 points, while Yuki Ishikawa had 17 points.

In the home team, Aaron Russell scored 16, Luca Vettori and Mitar Djuric ended the match with 11 points each. It was the first defeat of Trentino in the league and Lube Civitanova is the only undefeated team so far this season in Serie A1.

Modena have won the game in straight sets in Milano, but that was not an easy game for them since the first two sets were very uncertain. Ivan Zaytsev and Bartosz Bednorz scored 17 points each for Modena, while Nimir Abdel-Aziz scored 24 points on the other side.

Perugia didn’t have any difficulties in a game against Piacenza. Wilfredo Leon was the man who led Perugia to the win with 17 points, while Sjoerd Hoogendoorn contributed 13 points.
