We can say it was the best volleyball game in 2021 when we talk about women’s volleyball. Two teams played a chess game instead of a volleyball game.
Four sets ended with two points of difference and we have to mention the second set which lasted 78 rallies!
Imoco Volley managed to win this volleyball spectacle thanks to the amazing performance of the whole team especially Paola Egonu, who set a new record for scoring the highest number of points in a single game in Serie A1 – this time 47! She was the record holder as well, with 46 points.
Myriam Sylla added 19 while Smarzek had 20 and Bosetti 19 on the other side.
