Milad Ebadipour, the captain of Iran Men’s Volleyball National Team, is a new Allianz Powervolley Milano player.
The Iranian outside hitter Ebadipour has signed the agreement with Milano that will bind him to the SuperLega side for the 2022-23 season. He’s the captain of the Iran National Team, with which he participated in the two Olympic Games (Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020), a two-time Iranian champion (2013, 2017), three-time Asian Club Championship winner (2013, 2016, 2017), and Polish champion in 2018. PGE Skra Bełchatów has been the only club in Europe for a 28-year-old player thus far (2017-2022).
Interestingly, Ebadipour has already worked under the coach that will greet him in Milano. The Best Outside Spiker of the last Asian Championship and Roberto Piazza collaborated in Skra in the first two seasons of the player’s stay on the Bełchatów side.
