Itas Trentino clinched their 16th consecutive Final Four appearance by defeating Cisterna Volley 3-1. Alessandro Michieletto stole the show with 30 points, including three aces, cementing his role as MVP. Trentino’s powerful serve game (10 aces) and a 59% attack success rate proved decisive.
Civitanova Ends Drought
After a three-year absence, Cucine Lube Civitanova booked their Final Four ticket with a nail-biting 3-2 win over Allianz Milano. Mattia Bottolo, named MVP, led the charge. Civitanova’s resilience in the tie-break sealed the win, despite a remarkable 32-point performance by Milano’s Ferre Reggers.
Verona Makes History
Rana Verona etched their name in the history books with a 3-2 victory over Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza, marking their first-ever Final Four qualification. Noumory Keita delivered an MVP-worthy performance, scoring 30 points and rallying the team to a triumphant tie-break finish.
The last semifinalist will be determined in Monday’s clash between Sir Susa Vim Perugia and Valsa Group Modena. The Final Four promises to be an unmissable showdown on January 25-26 at the Unipol Arena in Bologna.
