Superlega PlayOff Semifinals: Sir Safety Perugia and Lube Civitanova Set for Another Volleyball Epic

The stage is set for one of Italian volleyball’s most iconic matchups—Sir Safety Perugia vs Cucine Lube Civitanova. It’s a rivalry steeped in history, packed with passion, and ready to add another unforgettable chapter when the Superlega playoff semifinals begin on April 6 at PalaBarton Energy.

SCUDETTO PLAYOFFS:
The top 8 teams from the Regular Season qualify for the Scudetto Playoffs. The Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Finals are played in a best-of-five format. Games 1, 3, and the potential Game 5 are hosted by the higher-seeded team based on Regular Season standings. Both Scudetto finalists earn qualification for the 2025/26 Champions League.
3RD PLACE PLAYOFFS:
The two Semifinal losers compete in a best-of-three series. Game 1 and the potential Game 3 are hosted by the team with the higher Regular Season ranking. The winner secures a spot in the 2025/26 Champions League, while the loser qualifies for the 2025/26 CEV Cup.
5TH PLACE PLAYOFFS:
The four teams eliminated in the Scudetto Quarterfinals, along with the 9th and 10th place teams from the Regular Season, compete in a single round-robin (each team plays 5 matches). The top four teams then advance to single-match Semifinals and a Final, all hosted by the higher-ranked team from the round-robin stage. The winner earns a place in the 2025/26 Challenge Cup.
