Conegliano
Conegliano had the lead in sets twice, but the visiting team kept coming back. Still, the audience in packed Palaverde hall (4,200 spectators) led their favorite players to the win in tie-break.
Domestic team had the indestructible duo – Neriman Özsoy (29) and Emiliya Nikolova (27)!
On the other side, Samanta Fabris scored even more – 30 points! She was followed by the legend of Modena, Francesca Piccinini (16).
Modena’s lost was the good news for Igor Gorgonzola Novara. All they had to do was to beat Foppapedretti Bergamo and they did it – with the style – in straight sets, partial 25-13, 25-19, 25-19.
Novara was led by Katarina Barun (21) and Alexandra Klineman (13).
