ITA M: Serie A1 extends number of clubs?

Italian league will be in focus between two seasons, it’s obvious. Beside possible transfer bombs, these days Serie A1 is discussing to reform of the championships.

According to gazzetta.it, the reform is proposed by the Italian Volleyball Fderation and the essence is that Serie A1 will be extended to 16 teams. Currently it contains 13 clubs.

We will see what will happen on this matter in the next month or two, but the sure fact is that there will be no relegation to Division 2 with the current regulations.
