Judith-Pietersen
After hiring the young U.S. outside hitter Symone Abbott, the women’s volleyball championship Serie A1 club Liu Jo Nordmeccanica Modena engaged another player on this position – a 27-year-old Dutch national team member Judith Pietersen. She can also cover an opposite position.
Pietersen played for Modena’s rivals Igor Gorgonzola Novara last season and won the national title.
As she said to Modena’s website, she completed an internship in her home country and that was the reason why she was without a club since the last summer.
